Dr. Calvin Despain was born and raised in Middleton, Idaho, and graduated from Middleton High School as valedictorian. He finished his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Despain graduated with the highest distinction in the top five percent of his class and was awarded the Dr. Tillman E. Miller Clinical Achievement Award. He was also elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for his commitment to clinical excellence and professional integrity.
Since dental school, Dr. Despain has trained with CEREC® same-day crowns, has become Invisalign® certified, and attained advanced dental implant and cosmetic dentistry training.
During his free time, Dr. Despain enjoys all sports outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Despain enjoys providing excellent dental care to residents of his community.
