Yeah, our office is a great place to come in and have your smile straightened out. We offer multiple different orthodontic options. We offer clear aligners so that you can have the more discrete, transparent way of having your teeth straightened. 

For those who don't like to have to take in and out aligners, we offer braces as well through the fast braces system that we do. And that is a simple braces system that allows us to move teeth quicker than traditional braces options. So different orthodontic treatments can be used in different circumstances. 
Aligners can be used to fix most cases that we see or that we treat in our office. In some cases, aligners aren't able to move the teeth enough to where we want them to be. In that case, braces can be a good option. 

And with our fast braces system that we use here, the braces are like traditional braces where they're glued onto your teeth. You don't have to take anything in or out. We can often make additional movements that we might not be able to do using aligners.

How effective are orthodontics?

Our orthodontic options are very effective for correcting a wide variety of orthodontic issues. We offer SureSmileĀ® and Six Month Smiles, either of which can straighten your teeth faster than traditional braces. Both methods will give you a straight and beautiful smile in months rather than two years or longer like braces take. We offer traditional braces as well, to correct more complex orthodontic issues.

Which type of orthodontics is best?

Are orthodontics worth it?

Our patients think so! We've treated many patients who have been unhappy with their smiles for years because of gaps, crooked teeth, and other orthodontic issues. Orthodontic treatment not only improves the appearance of your smile, it often improves its function too by moving teeth into proper alignment. Misaligned teeth can contribute to health problems such as TMJ disorders.

Am I too old for orthodontic treatment? 

There is no upper age limit for straightening healthy teeth. Many adults choose orthodontic treatment because they didn't have it when they were younger or because their teeth have shifted over time. Healthy teeth and gums are more important than age when determining whether orthodontic treatment is appropriate.

Can clear aligners fix every orthodontic problem? 

Clear aligners can treat many common alignment and spacing concerns, but they aren't the right solution for every smile. More complex tooth movements or bite problems may respond better to braces or another orthodontic approach. An evaluation can determine which option can predictably accomplish the desired movement.

Will I need to wear a retainer after orthodontic treatment? 

Yes. Teeth naturally have a tendency to shift, even after successful orthodontic treatment. A retainer helps hold them in their new positions while the surrounding bone and tissues stabilize. Continuing to wear your retainer as directed is one of the best ways to protect your new smile.
